Where do I start what a breath of fresh air this dance school is. Lottie started just after lockdown which had really affected Lottie's self-esteem, Miss C worked closely with Lottie and wow how's she's grown into such a beautiful and confident little bendy dancer. This dance school isn't just a dance school it's a family and I as a mum love it just as much as Lottie does. That you for all you do Miss C x

Words aren’t enough, we’ve been with CWSD since day 1, Hollie was just 3, a shy dancer who turned away from the audience in her first show, fast forward 6 years and she’s doing solos, beaming with confidence in and off stage , does 3 solos as festivals and has more sass than I thought possible. Nothing is too much for our wonderful Miss C, she’s always got a smile on her face, and helpful is her middle name. Her support is outstanding, all the students are forever smiling, she has a brilliant team of student teachers and adult helpers, and the atmosphere is always friendly, nothing is too much for her, even though she’s a mum herself now. 

CWSD is by far the best dance school. It’s a safe & second home for my daughter.

My daughter started with Miss. Courtney as we came out of lockdown. As a parent I was nervous about how my little girl would be…. She was a nightmare! But in true Miss. Courtney style her patience and approach to dance lessons were amazing. She soon had Eliza eating out of her hand engaging in lessons, making friends and beginning to learn lots of new skills. Her confidence and ability have improved so much as she has matured. Courtney is dynamic and always looking for opportunities to provide her pupils beyond the classes. She always goes above and beyond. Watching the dance school grow has been amazing, whilst not losing the ethos it has. The shows that students put on are phenomenal, getting better every year (it’s great to see the development of the dancers). The support from Miss Courtney and the whole team is something special. I wouldn’t want my child to go anywhere else! We love it.

 

Lucy:

My daughter Maisy started dancing with Miss C when she first started out holding her classes in the local village hall. Maisy was a quiet, shy and reserved little girl. Over the years Courtney has given a positive environment showing kindness and encouragement which has helped her to blossom into the confident dancer she is today. Seeing potential in her, making her a student teacher and giving her endless opportunities really has moulded her into not only the dancer but young lady she is today and that is down to having Miss C as the absolute best role model a girl could have. 

We can’t thank you enough for all that you have done and continue to do as a dance school and are forever excited for the next step! CWSD really is one big happy family, and we would never ever want to do this journey anywhere else

I feel like we’ve won the dance school jackpot with Miss Courtney and her team, she’s the most encouraging supportive person and loves all her children, my daughter thrives here and loves dancing with her friends.

 

Lauren:

My daughter has danced with CWSD since the age of 5 (she's now 11) and has loved every minute. She started off very shy and would often choose to dance at the back of the class, but with Courtney's support, guidance and of course excellent teaching style my daughter has really come out of her shell, gained confidence and has completed many dance exams, competed in festivals, and also danced in several dance shows (on the front row too! ). Courtney is very kind and patient. She takes time to get to know and to listen to all her students. Communication between Courtney and parents/carers is also excellent. In more recent times my son has joined CWSD drama group. Both he and my daughter have such a fun time at drama and always come out laughing at the tasks that they and the staff at CWSD have got up to in the session. CWSD is more likely an extended family than a dance school. I highly recommend CWSD to any child wishing to start dance or drama lessons

We are having the best experience with Miss Courtney and her wonderful dance school. My daughter has grown in confidence, made some lovely friends and learning skills in the most positive environment. Miss Courtney is patient, kind and supportive and her helpers, both student and parent, are all so willing to help and encourage. We are so grateful to be part of it all

My daughter has been at Courtney's since the very beginning when she was a nervous 3-year-old, Courtney would guide, reassure and support her throughout lessons alongside all the other children. Fast forward to 6 years later she is a confident, outgoing and supportive dancer! Seeing her as a student helper, helping all the little ones just like Courtney did with her makes my heart melt. CWSD is her safe place, her support system and her comfort blanket. She and I have made friends for life. CWSD is not just a 'dance school' it's her family

My daughter has attended CWSD for around 5 years and the change in her not only as a dancer but as a person is amazing. The confidence she has now is unreal dancing solos in festivals. This is all down to the nurturing, safe, fun environment Miss Courtney offers. Olivia looks up to Miss Courtney and I could not want a better role model for her, she wants to be Miss Courtney when she’s an adult and as a mum I would be immensely proud if she was. The children all look up to her and thrive in the safe, happy, fun, kind, friendly environment she has created. My daughter has been with CWSD right from the very begining. She walked into her first-class holding Miss Courtney's hand upset as she was so nervous. That soon changed with the love and patience from Miss Courtney, and she soon turned into the confident student helper that she is today. Miss C gives these students endless opportunities, and they continue to strive every day, She's the best role model you could have I cannot thank you enough for everything you do and continue to do. CWSD is the best family a girl could wish for, we wouldn't be anywhere else

My daughter Demi started with Miss Courtney from the beginning and has bloomed in her dancing and confidence and loves being with Miss C and all her friends she has made at dance!! Miss C is an amazing dance teacher and very caring and patient!! Demi has now become one of Miss C student teachers which she absolutely loves doing!

Ruby wanted to start dancing, Miss Courtney’s was highly recommended, I can 100% see why, Ruby has settled in like she has been part of the family for such a long time, Miss Courtney goes above and beyond for everyone at the dance school makes them feel comfortable & happy while teaching them how to dance at the same time, I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else, the sass & confidence my little girl has gained is all because of this, Miss Courtney makes you feel like you have known her a life time which as a parent makes you feel the happiest person to know your child is going to their school

How do i even begin, My little girl has been coming to CWSD for the last 4 and a half years, she started off as such a quiet, unconfident 2 year old who used to cry at 1st when i left her, this soon changed with the kindness and patience of Miss Courtney and all her helpers, she is now the most confident sass queen who loves dancing and can’t wait to show us what she’s learnt after every lesson. I think she would dance in her sleep if she could and that’s all thanks to her amazing teachers. its not only a dance school but everyone is like a big family, and nothing is too much trouble. Coming to all her dance classes is Lola’s favourite thing to do and is definitely her safe space. I don’t know what we would do without Miss C and all her student helpers, you’ve made Lola's life complete so thank you so much.

My first daughter started at CWSD in January 2020 and very quickly we knew we had found something very special, the love and dedication Miss Courtney puts into to her students and classes is like no other, so much so my second daughter joined shortly after. The shows every year are incredible and the other events put on are so precious to us all. My daughter's confidence has come on leaps and bounds over the years and we thank Courtney for that. We wouldn't go anywhere else for our dance classes, even when we moved 45mins away...we still happily make the journey every week. CWSD is a family.

Chloe has been coming to CWSD since 2021 after Miss Courtney did street dance sessions in her nursery class. Chloe loved these sessions and since starting at CWSD she hasn’t looked back. Her confidence in dancing and acro increases each week. Miss Courtney makes each child feel so welcome and offers lots of different opportunities to the students with a variety of classes and events to perform in. Chloe loves Miss Courtney and looks up to the student helpers and she hopes to be as good as them one day. Her younger brother Lucas has also started at CWSD and loves letting loose on the dancefloor!
