Miss Courtney has danced since the age of 3. At 16 Courtney left home and attended Phil Winston's Theatreworks in Blackpool studying a 3 year professional vocational course. Courtney gained her IDTA Level 4 Teaching qualification and realised her passion for teaching as she taught classes at college and local schools to the area whilst training. Miss Courtney believes everyone should have the chance to dance and thrives for her school to always offer a warm welcome to everyone attending. Each year Miss Courtney gives the option / opportunity for students to take IDTA Exams, Acrobatic Arts Exams, Festival Competitions, Shows, Masterclasses/Summer Schools and Awards Evening where every student receives recognition. 

Miss Courtney is a fully licensed and qualified IDTA teacher to teach the following styles:

* Ballet 

* Tap 

* Contemporary Modern Jazz

* Theatre Craft 

* Acrobatic Dance​

Miss Courtney also is a fully licensed and certified Acrobatic Arts Teacher and School which allows her students to take examinations and gradings of the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus. 

Miss Courtney has also gained her Melody Movement (Melody Bear) License and is certified to teach classes and mentor student helpers / student teachers to gain their qualifications. 

Miss Courtney has taken a Safeguarding of Children course and passed with 100%. 

Courtney also holds her Level 3 Paediatric First Aid certificate and is licensed to perform her knowledge whenever/wherever needed.
